Updated Site Specific Assessment (SSA) requirements

Certificates of Currency/Insurance

From Monday, 2 February 2026, SSA applications that are Commercially or University sponsored will require a copy of the certificate of insurance uploaded as part of the application process.

If you have any questions in relation to the required documentation, please contact the appropriate research office.

Researchers will no longer be able to upload ZIP files in Research GEMS

This is to ensure documents are captured individually and categorised correctly. If you have a specific need to provide a ZIP file, please contact your research office.

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) refresher training

Training for the latest ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) E6 (R3) guidelines is now available online, via the Australian Clinical Trial Education Centre (A-CTEC).
